From Japan, this band starts as you would expect other Japanese metal bands to begin: classical baroque music, lots of orchestration, clean vocals… but then the growling roars and takes the experience to another more extreme level. The clean vocals are not my cup of tea, but the guitar riffs are effective and as I said before; the growling/screeching/pig-squealing are amazing.
It’s good to have something very brutal coming out of a style we’re used to being very “polite”. With so many orchestrations, I’m used to Japanese bands being way tamer and having vocalists that get on my nerve. If you’re not convinced with the first track, please try the second, it’s my personal favorite and I feel it’s worth your time.
