Let me try to make your ears accustomed to a black sheep of music: Chiptune. I don’t know for you, but old school video games have been a big part of my childhood and seeing people making tributes to this era is nice, but it has to be done right. Rainbowdragoneyes is part of this very small elite of bands that do chiptune metal right. I must admit that I had a hard time with the autotuned vocals at first, but they fit quite well with the rest so it makes a cohesive enough mix to enjoy nonetheless.
With cheesy but catchy riffs, you will find yourself headbanging to the sound of 80s 8-bits video games. Give this band a chance and lose yourself in the adventure of an epic non-existing metal oriented video game.
