"No Touching" - Movie Review

Updated: Mar 18, 2019

Doug Jones, Zoë Bell, Jake Busey and Heidi Moneymaker: this is a very impressive cast for a short film. And when you’ll see it, you’ll get why they all signed in for the project. Directors Adam Davis and Will Corona Pilgrim daringly attempted to merge horror and action together; two genres that usually don’t mix. And they succeeded beyond any expectations I had. This crowd-funded short film has the right amount of everything: creepiness, humor and ass-kicking action. Its only downfall: it’s not a feature length film. When I got out of the theatre, I actually imagined a full script to make it a complete and cohesive story and believe me, it works!

With all the talent on the screen, I don’t even have to tell you how good the actors are. It is well shot, well lit and brought an efficient mythology to its environment in the short amount of time that can be restricting while making a short film. These guys definitively know what they are doing and I can’t wait to see more from them.
